What exactly do you do all day?

The million dollar question- Most of the day I am hooked up to monitors and during this time I try to stay as still as I can and let the doctors and nurses monitor the twin’s.  The monitors that I’m hooked up to display the babies’ current heart rates and can sense any contractions that I may be having. The purpose of this test is to let the doctors know if either baby is in distress, which is noted when the babies’ heart rates stay too high or too low for an extended period of time.
Since the twins are still so small it’s easy for the girls to move around, which causes the nurses to spend most of their day by my side trying to track the girls down.  Addison thus far has done the best job staying on the monitors.  Lilly on the other hand likes to spend her days doing cartwheels.
When I’m not on the monitors, I’m usually sleeping.  Four hours is the most sleep that I get at any given time, so unfortunately I find myself sleeping most the day away.  I’m always telling the nurses how much I hate sleeping all day and they keep telling me, “Honey, get it while you can cause when those babies come, you’ll be wishing for sleep!”
