I have to make a decision whether I want staples or sutures. I thought that I was 100% convinced that I wanted sutures, but many of the nurses have told me that they prefer staples.
Anyone out there have an opinion about this? I could use your guidance.

I can't help ya out with Sutures cause I only had staples......They were fine! Took them out after a week or less I believe and it was a piece of cake. I didn't even know sutures were an option, maybe staples were the only thing offered at Madigan....if thats true, that may tell ya something? I'm sure you can't go wrong!!!!!
Hey Rose, It is Stacey from church. I had c-section with staples. Had c-section on Friday and they took the staples out on Monday b4 I went home. They came out really easy. Don't know if this helps. Take care and you are in our prayers.
Hey Rosie [sorry, you'll always be that :)],
I have had 3 c-sections and for some reason my awesome OB only did staples- until I asked her if I could have sutures instead. She easily complied and did all 3 of my c-sections that way and I only have one pencil line scar :). I did hear staple are faster at the end of surgery...but either way, they have to close you up! :)
