I worry that soon my world will be turned upside down! I will have gone from all the time the in world, to what may seem like very little time in the day to achieve all I want to achieve. I worry about how I will handle my time when the twins get here. I know that both Travis and I will have our hands full and I just hope that we make the best use of each day, not only for the twins, but for us as well.
I ran across this little piece on time and I thought it was cute, so I’ve decided to share it with you. It’s cheesy I know, but I love cheesy
TIME
Each of us has such a bank. Its name is TIME.
Every morning, it credits you with 86,400 seconds. Every night it writes off, as lost, whatever of this you have failed to invest to good purpose.
It carries over no balance. It allows no overdraft. Each day it opens a new account for you. Each night it burns the remains of the day. If you fail to use the day's deposits, the loss is yours. There is no going back. There is no drawing against the "tomorrow."
You must live in the present on today's deposits. Invest it so as to get from it the utmost in health, happiness, and success! The clock is running. Make the most of today.
To realize the value of ONE YEAR, ask a student who failed a grade.
To realize the value of ONE MONTH, ask a mother who gave birth to a premature baby.
To realize the value of ONE WEEK, ask the editor of a weekly newspaper.
To realize the value of ONE HOUR, ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.
To realize the value of ONE MINUTE, ask a person who missed the train.
To realize the value of ONE-SECOND, ask a person who just avoided an accident.

Hey Rose- I was excited to find your blog! I was cruising around and found yours- loved reading through your posts. What a wonderful blessing you guys have been given-2 sweet babies to be born!I loved your TIME piece. I had read it before somewhere but was happy to read it again and be reminded. I remember feeling the same way at the end of my pregnancies-so much time and waiting, not much to do, and then after the birth-not enough time!! Dena
