She's back.....

Dakota and Mom
I decided to call my mom last Sunday evening to see what she was up to.  She gave me some lame story about how she and Dave were in Portland, blah, blah, blah…. Not 30 minutes later my door opened and in walked my Mom! It was so surreal I wasn’t sure if I was dreaming.  It took me a few seconds to realize that she really did just walk into my room and the tears started flowing.

I was in shock.  I couldn’t believe that she was here.  It seems like only a few weeks ago and she was here for Thanksgiving.  Mothers really do know best, seeing her was just what I needed and I was shocked when she told me she would be staying the entire week.  She stayed in my room all week with me.  I don’t know how to express in words how amazing it was to have her by my side.  She is the first person to really see what a day in my shoes is like.  It meant so much to me.  I hope that I can be as loving of a mother to my girls as she is to me.  Thanks Mom.  Thank you for everything!
